For anybody who somehow has the rare occasion to stumble upon this page, especially during the early stages of its creation, please accept my humble apology for the lack of references, footnotes, and development. I started this page to link, in cross-reference, to hyperlinked templates I made for the medal tables for the biographies of individual gymnasts, so I plan to have the results of these games developed either on this page, or on sections of this page, or somehow directly linked-to from this page, complete with the names of gymnasts as hyperlinks (whether active and hyperlinking to a pre-existing page for the particular gymnast or inactive because no existing page has been created for that particular gymnast).

This is intended to become a reference source that is complimentary to the results of the official 1980 Summer Olympics and 1984 Summer Olympics.
