Years Active
[edit]I think it is a mistake saying that UGK was only active until 2007. While its true that Pimp C died in '07, Bun B has been releasing music featuring butler continuously since then. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.17.112.160 (talk) 00:19, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
"Crampin My Style" sample error
[edit]Under the list of notable samples, "Crampin my Style" is listed as sampling Notorious BIG's "Big Poppa", yet the former was released in 1992 while the latter was released in 1994. Can we find the reall original song both these tracks sampled?
- That's "Between the Sheets" by the Isley Brothers. Somebody already fixed it. number29(Talk) 13:36, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dirtymoney.jpg
[edit]Image:Dirtymoney.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
The three man duo
[edit]How can a hip hop duo be formed by three people? No mention of Calvin Fryer on UGK's myspace or website either. number29(Talk) 13:36, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
UGK had 4 members originally, The other member was Mithell Queen —Preceding unsigned comment added by Digga2k6 (talk • contribs) 07:26, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Release year for The Southern Way?
[edit]Parts of the article say 1992, and the rest of the article says 1988. --Josh1billion 14:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Underground Hits
[edit]I was hoping someone would discuss UGK's continued prominence in the under ground scene even after they were signed by Jive. Many of UGK's classic songs are found no where on any album. Classic's like "Deep in the Game/Top Notch Hoes", and "Bitch Get Up Off Me," were on every mix CD at every ghetto gas station and strip mall in Texas in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Between "Ridin' Dirty" and "Dirty Money" UGK made a slew of songs that were ghetto classics Quebacca (talk) 21:30, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Quebacca "TheRealest"
- I don't think anyone can disagree with that...I mean shit I can't even count how many ghetto classics there are. It's a shame the Pimp is gone, Bun is great on his own but together they are just something else.jlcoving (talk) 06:12, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Screwed up Click?, I think not.
[edit]The category says that the duo are members of screwed up click. They were not members but they were close friends with DJ Screw. David.Green (talk) 14:18, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
No Limit?
[edit]I Doubt UGK was ever on No Limit the label. probably just a vandalism.
