Czechia

[edit]

I believe there has been a push from the Czech government to promote the use of the name Czechia instead of Czech Republic. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_Republic#Etymology. The UEFA also appears to use the shorter name in the graphics. Shouldn't we follow both their leads and also adopt the name Czechia? KeithWM (talk) 19:12, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Squad numbers

[edit]

A logical squad number is shown for each player of the Netherlands squad by anonymous user 46.0.115.195, but I don't understand where those squad numbers are coming from. I haven't seen the Dutch FA or other media say anything about the squad numbers. And the same goes for the France team. Some teams played friendlies, but the squad numbers of the friendlies could be different from the squad numbers at the tournament, right? Joephuh (talk) 12:51, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Player representation by league

[edit]

There are 24 teams of 26 players each. 24 x 26 = 624. France and Belgium each only named 25 players so that means there should be 622 total players.

This lists a total of 620 players in the league representation section so that figure is off one way or the other. 32.219.216.9 (talk) 15:51, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Original research

[edit]

Why is there a lot of it here? Oldest and youngest players, etc? Seasider53 (talk) 10:18, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
