Rules
[edit]The article says:- "the standard rules for the knockout phase in European competitions.[1]"
but the reference, [1], is UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifying Draw Procedure; and it just says:-
". . . The eight remaining third-placed teams contest play-off matches to determine the four teams qualified for the final tournament."
It doesn't say anything about penalties, away goals or extra time.

- If others readers have trouble understanding the rules of play-off matches in FIFA/UEFA/etc. tournaments, they must have asked for such information before. Sorry for not checking every articles, but I did check some of them, and I have never seen it happened :) Centaur271188 (talk) 13:56, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Well, if nobody wants to discuss more, I will remove this section very soon. It is noticeable that we already have a reference to Two-legged tie in the first paragraph, and I think that is user-friendly enough :) Centaur271188 (talk) 18:45, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
