"Sports" heading
[edit]I fail to see why 'Basketball', 'Volleyball', 'Football', etc subheadings are under the "Sports" heading. This is UAAP. It is an athletic organisation, obviously, it is all about sports! Would there be a music competition in UAAP soon? Or maybe a cooking contest? LOL. Cheerdance isn't considered a sport (is it?) but a sport entertainment, however this "Sports" heading is weird and not necessary. — McVahl Talk 15:22, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- It was originally in that format. A few days ago, an IP introduced the sports heading, leaving out cheerdance. I included it to "sports", then this edit made it its own heading. –HTD 15:51, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- Also, the infobox also functions like a TOC already, so having them side-by-side is redundant. –HTD 17:07, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- It's either we could limit TOC subheading to Level 2 or simply hide it. What do you reckon? — McVahl Talk 17:17, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- I like being able to navigate through the different men's and women's tournaments via the TOC, something the version with the "Sports" header can't do. –HTD 17:26, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Headings and subheadings format
[edit]As far as I know, the (original) format of UAAP season articles are as follows:
Insert_sport_here Men's tournament Elimination round Playoffs Awards Women's tournament Elimination round Playoffs Awards Boys' tournament Elimination round Playoffs Awards Girls' tournament Elimination round Playoffs Awards
Based on the format above, seniors' division section COMES FIRST before juniors' division. Therefore, the format for Overall championship tally section must be similar in form and must do the same. But there comes this edit by IP 119.95.183.239 modifying everything without explanation, same as what that Joseroyal did to UAAP season 74 up to 76 articles.
I am going to restore the articles to the old format and also remove that Joseroyal's stupid 'Sports' heading).
- In case there are any watchers, should the championship tally comes before or after the medal table? Originally, medal table came first before the tally, and I am not sure how to deal with this.
- Also, there was an Overall championship standing section before (see for example), but an IP has removed it because it is redundant? Should it be restored? I like being able to see the summary of overall championship points for both divisions without scrolling the screen. What is your opinion about this?
- And last but not the least, I also noticed these changes—using "General championships" instead of "Overall championships". I believe UAAP uses the latter more often, right? — McVahl Talk 05:26, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
- I dunno about which among "Overall" or "General" is now the most favorably used. It was called Overall, but I dunno now.
- Ditch the medal table for the overall championship section. Now that is redundant. Also, it's a very good idea to ditch the demonstration sports from the championship tally. They're worth zero points even if a team won that. That'll just cause confusion.
- Finally, yes the seniors division tally should come before the juniors tally. –HTD 13:33, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
