Oh, L-3 Communications has a facility on the east side of Crestview, Florida[1]. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites ‖ 17:34, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
[2] Beginning of old Florida State Road 1 east of Milton.
- Google Maps claims that's in Holt, Florida, but I saw that yesterday and it was west of Harold, Florida. Also, from what I've read there are three segments of former SR 1, and I've only found one so far, specifically the one east of Milton which you just showed me. -------User:DanTD (talk) 18:01, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Question
- You've been to the panhandle. What's that area north of Pensacola and east of Ferry Pass? I have a feeling it's going to be someplace that's no longer recognized by the census bureau or FDOT, and would only show up on maps of the 19th and early-20th Centuries. -----DanTD (talk) 12:47, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Escambia Bay? --‖ Ebyabe talk - Inspector General ‖ 13:12, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, that looks like land there. From what I've seen on the FDOT maps, it's on the coast of Macky Bay. You mean you don't see that spot to the east of the border of Ferry Pass, just north of the Pensacola City Limits where I-10 and the CSX P&A Subdivision cross over Escambia Bay, and Florida State Road 90 ends at US 90? -----DanTD (talk) 13:43, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- I was half kidding. I wasn't sure precisely where you meant. But see, according to this, Ferry Pass extends all the way to the Bay. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Inspector General ‖ 13:50, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Well, okay then. Perhaps it's time to adjust the maps. -------DanTD (talk) 15:49, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

DeFuniak Springs HD
The article on DeFuniak Springs Historic District claims that "The district is bounded by Nelson and Park Avenues and 2nd and 12th Streets." So I suppose this means US 90 is "Nelson Avenue" there. -------User:DanTD (talk) 18:09, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- UPDATE: Never mind, I just saw a photocopy of a map indicating that is is. -------User:DanTD (talk) 20:21, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Fred Mahan Drive
There's a bit of history about the section of US 90 between Tallahassee and Monticello. Some sources can be found through Google here. I always liked driving that stretch, then I found out about the landscaping efforts and I was like, "Aha!" :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - General Health ‖ 19:01, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Interesting, but this looks like this may require a serious rewrite. Got anything on the dead end section west of Monticello? Reminder; Once I actually publish this article, this talk page is going to be archived. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 21:22, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
