Old History of Route 84.
[edit]Ludowicki was once rated as one of the ten worst speed traps in the US by AAA (about 1970). The county actually erected a sign just outside of city limits to warn drivers entering the town to slow to the speed limit The police chief responsible for the speed trap was voted out of office soon after.
