- Lede
- Within the town of Wrightsville Beach, US 76 follows Causeway Drive across Harbor Island before turning south. maybe remove this sentence and save for route description? Let me know what you think. -420Traveler (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- I agree it's too detailed. I removed it.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- The routing between Chadbourn and Wrightsville Beach became part of NC 20, which extended west to Asheville. do you mean "which was extended west to Asheville" ? -420Traveler (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- The highway just ran west to Asheville at the time. I reworded the sentence.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- In 1935, US 17 was rerouted similar to its current routing, and US 76 was extended to Wrightsville Beach. maybe add "over the former US 17" (or something similar) after "Wrightsville beach" -420Traveler (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Reworded this.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- While the routing has remained roughly the same, much of the highway between Chadbourn and Wilmington has been placed on new freeways. Add "majority" between "While the" and "routing" -420Traveler (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

- Route description
- In first sentence add from South Carolina line and near where, and the eastern terminus. -420Traveler (talk) 03:38, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Added "near where" but wasn't sure what you meant by "and the eastern terminus", at least in the context.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Also after first sentence, in same section: Add National highway system info and traffic count info. -420Traveler (talk) 03:38, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Added National Highway system, I will do the traffic count soon.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

- I think I did a pretty good job at this.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

- Replace slashes with commas, and add "and" after last comma -420Traveler (talk) 03:46, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done throughout the article.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

- For approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km), US 76 runs along a rural two-lane highway to the north. Maybe change to "US 76 continues north for 2.5 along a rural..." then does it enter Fair Bluff? -420Traveler (talk) 03:53, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Shortened the distance to 1.7 miles and said that it then enters Fair Bluff. The 2.5 was to a curve where the highway no longer runs north.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- US 74 and US 76 run concurrently with each other for 50.4 miles (81.1 km). change this to "begins a concurrency"
- Fixed--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- The freeway bypasses much of Whiteville to the north and meets US 701 at a partial cloverleaf interchange north of the city how does it get from where it left of at last paragraph to Whiteville? and what access is there to US 701?
- Fixed--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- The exit also provides access to the western terminus of NC 214 which parallels the highway until Bolton. should "begins" be added between "which" and "parallels"?
- Fixed--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- North of Hallsboro, the highway meets Hallsboro Road at a diamond interchange. Would it be better to say "The highway then meets Hallsboro Road at a diamond interchange north of Hallsboro" sound better?
- I think so, I made the change.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 74 and US 76 continues east as a four-lane divided highway, bypassing Bolton to the north. change "continues" to "continue"
- Done--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Making a gradual turn to the southeast, the highway meets the eastern terminus of NC 214 at an at-grade intersection. At an at-grade intersection, US 76 meets NC 11 at its southern terminus. After first sentence add what happens before the NC 11 junction.
- I added on to the sentence at the beginning to include this.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- In the southeastern side of Delco, the highway meets NC 87, which runs concurrently with US 74 and US 76 to the east for 5.5 miles (8.9 km). remove the "5.5 miles"
- Done--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 76 enters Brunswick County 1.8 miles (2.9 km) east of Delco along US 74 and NC 87 add "with" after "along"
- Done--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- At the community of Maco, US 74 and US 76 intersects NC 87 (Maco Road) and Northwest Road at an at-grade intersection. The intersection is the eastern end of the NC 87 concurrency and NC 87 runs south toward Winnabow. combine these sentences.
- Combined--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 76 provides access to a large residential neighborhood near the community of Malmo. how does it get from Maco to here?
- I just took this sentence out, it's a rather unnecessary detail. But I added something to the next sentence to provide continuity.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- East of Malmo, US 74 and US 76 meets I-140 (Wilmington Bypass) at a partial cloverleaf interchange. Add what exit.
- I added the exit to the end of the sentence (after interchange). Let me know if it should be earlier.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 74 and US 76 have a modified trumpet interchange with US 17 (Ocean Highway) within the gradual curve. change "have" to "reaches"
- Done--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- The highway meets NC 133 0.6 miles (970 m) to the east at a diverging diamond interchange change to "The highway then meets NC 133 roughly 0.6 miles (970 m) to the east at a diverging diamond interchange" ?
- Changed this--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- NC 133 also begins to run concurrently with US 17, US 74, and US 76 to the east. change to "Here, NC 133 begins to run concurrently with US 17, US 74, and US 76 to the east." ?
- Also changed this--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- The freeway crosses the Brunswick River and Alligator Creek before meeting US 421 at a trumpet interchange. US 74 and NC 133 exit the freeway and run concurrently with US 421 to the north. US 421 merges onto the freeway and crosses the Cape Fear River along the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge concurrent with US 17 and US 76. I would combine the last two sentences. Let me know if you disagree.
- I combined the sentences and took out everything after "Bridge"--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- After crossing the Cape Fear River, US 76 enters into New Hanover County. Just US 76?
- Fixed this, it was all of the roads concurrent.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Immediately following the exit, the highway widens to the size of a city block. what do you mean by city block?
- I changed this to show the median widened to match Dawson and Wooster Streets. The next sentence then explains the split street situation so I hope its not redundant.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 76 meets US 421 at Third Street, marking the end of both the freeway and the US 421 concurrency. remove the "meets US 421" and reword sentence.
- Reworded this and combined it with the sentence below since it all occurs at one-ish intersection.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- US 17 and US 76 are split into Dawson Street (eastbound) and Wooster Street (westbound) through downtown Wilmington. Add at what point it splits.
- Oleander Drive crosses another railroad owned and operated by CSX Transportation crosses over or at-grade?
- At-Grade, I fixed this.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- In "New Hanover County" section, there are a few places when it says "US 76 meets". When US 76 is overlapped with US 17 you should add "US 17" or something similar.
- I think I fixed all of these, at least from what I could see.--Ncchild (talk) 16:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Major intersections
- Change header from "Junction list" to "Major intersections" -420Traveler (talk) 04:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

- Done, added via. USS North Carolina Road. The boat really is right next to the interchange, USS North Carolina Road is just a service road of sorts.--Ncchild (talk) 23:10, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- US 421 Truck south / Front Street is this the terminus of US 421 Truck? If so add it to notes. -420Traveler (talk) 04:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

- This section looks good, I added the info to the notes section -420Traveler (talk) 04:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Round 2-History+Future sections
- Both NC 20 and NC 202 were decommissioned in 1935 in favor of overlapping US Highways. Add second reference and add comma after 1935. Also should it be changed to "by 1935" since it says 1934 in infobox for NC-202?
- Added the comma, but I'm not sure what you mean by second reference. Both a 1934 and 1935 map are included in the reference at the end of the sentence. Do you want me to add them directly after the quote?--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Originally, US 76 followed its when? maybe change to "When first established in..."
- Completed. I debated between using first established or first extended, since US 76 was originally "established" outside the state of North Carolina. Is extended more correct or does established still work? Am I overthinking this lol.--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- In 1936 US 74 and US 76 was adjusted Add comma after 1936 and change "was" to "were"
- Done.--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge was completed in 1969 providing a second bridge into the city of Wilmington. Add comma after 1969.
- Easy enough.--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Mount Misery Road/Lanvale Road change slash to "and"
- Done--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- US 74, US 76 freeway until Union Valley Road change comma to "and"
- Completed--Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- In January 1978, US 17, US 74, US 76, and NC 133 was change "was" to "were"
- Done. Last thing. Apologies for being relatively unresponsive. My final exams are done now so I promise I work on these sooner in the future. --Ncchild (talk) 03:03, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Ncchild: No problem at all, take your time. I just still need to review the Special Routes section. -420Traveler (talk) 17:39, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
@Ncchild and 420Traveler: It's been about a month since this review was edited. Is the review ongoing? Urve 02:45, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- I think I finished correcting the items in the current comments, I'm really just waiting for him to review the special routes section.--Ncchild (talk) 02:56, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Ncchild: Sorry for the long delay, just been super busy with work. One thing that needs to be fixed is:
- The highway lasted for six months while construction the freeway around Whiteville was completed. This sentence needs to be reworded a little. -420Traveler (talk) 13:37, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- You're completely fine, take your time because I certainly understand. I think I fixed the sentence. I agree it was a little clunky and I think it is better now, but obviously you may have a different perspective.--Ncchild (talk) 02:39, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Ncchild: Everything looks good now, passing it now. Another great job. -420Traveler (talk) 13:31, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
