It is requested that an image or photograph of the old US63 section and the historic bridges be included in this article to improve its quality. Please replace this template with a more specific media request template where possible.
Significant modifications need to be made to both this article and the main U.S. 63 article to reflect its 2019 relocation onto a different concurrency from Brinkley to Jonesboro. Most of the lengthy I-40/55/555 concurrency was replaced with a much shorter concurrency with U.S. 49 from the Brinkley exit on I-40 to the Southwest Drive exit on I-555 in Jonesboro. (It remains concurrent with I-40 from Hazen to Brinkley, and with I-555 from the Southwest Drive exit to the end of I-555.) The Marked Tree & Jonesboro business routes were also eliminated as part of this change.. AASHTO approval for the change is here; the ARDOT minute order (2019-050) making the change is here. I have a photo of the signed U.S. 49-63 concurrency just north of Brinkley if needed. However, the changes required to this article are beyond my expertise so I ask other Wikipedians to take care of this significant change. --RBBrittain (talk) 04:32, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Action is also needed on the I-555 article as it still assumes it is concurrent with U.S. 63 for its entire route, instead of just the northern four miles. --RBBrittain (talk) 04:53, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
