- With a portion of the History section empty and tagged for expansion, as well as a somewhat short lead section, I believe "C" class is a more appropriate article rating at this time. Once the gap is filled in, there should be no problem re-promoting to "B" class. --LJ (talk) 02:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

North Spokane Corridor merger
[edit]I personally think that this needs to be merged here, after a good does of summarization. We're talking about a construction project, which unlike the Big Dig, isn't notable enough for a stand-alone article. A good summary of this project in the main highway's article will be needed for it to be comprehensive. We should merge all of the completed construction into the History section of the US 395 article. Any unfinished, un-started phases of the project should be in a Future section. The junction list on US 395 should be updated as changes are made and the highway is moved, but otherwise the junction list in the project article can be discarded. The North Spokane Corridor article is pushing undue weight to just copy/paste the content directly; it needs to be summarized in the merger. Imzadi 1979 → 23:01, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

- Don't merge The North Spokane Corridor has way more impact and significance than any other part of this highway - it's not even close. It's not just a construction project, its a permanent freeway, just like the Alaskan Way Viaduct was not just a construction project and the Gardiner Expressway was not just a construction project. This freeway will define the Spokane area (home to over 300,000) for decades to come. And, for the record, a straight merge would not be undue weight, due to this section's much greater significance than the rest. 69.7.41.230 (talk) 19:41, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
- No merge This should not be merged until the last half is completed and connected to I-90. This is definitely not just another construction project - it will be a lifeline for Eastern Washington and a multi-year project such as this that is as important to so many people as it is deserves to have all the information available on its own page, rather than summarizing it to stuff into another article. The freeway itself is important enough to rip through residential, commercial and industrial developments, and property acquisition has been ongoing for years and years for this project, it affects a large population of the people here and I do not believe the time is right to merge this info into another article. - Don't merge I have driven on this road multiple times and believe that, in the spirit of the goals (as I understand them) of the U.S. Roads WikiProject, an attempt to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to roads in the United States, this article will be more helpful and consistent with those goals if it remains separate.
