Truck restriction in Havana
[edit]p. 13: "On non-limited access roadways, truck lane restriction exists on a 2-mile stretch of US 27, in the City of Havana in north Florida. This restriction, imposed in 1989, requires trucks to use the left lane only in each direction of this four-lane highway. The restriction was imposed to improve pedestrian safety and comfort which was compromised prior to the restriction because of the close proximity of sidewalks and buildings to the roadway."
