Merge?

There really isn't a whole lot of new information here. Should this be merged? --Coredesat 18:52, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

I personally disagree, and I think there's enough info for it to stay. Hurricanehink (talk) 19:19, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
The storm history is an exact copy of the seasonal article. The preps and impact have already been condensed to fit in the seasonal article. There isn't much here. I *would not* object if aftermath is found. – Chacor 03:00, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
I'll use the argument I've used elsewhere. What's the harm in keeping it? Hurricanehink (talk) 03:16, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
That Wikipedia will no longer be seen as worthy of citation by Padgett? Jeez, just look at all the errors. – Chacor 03:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Or should that be "Piddget"? – Chacor 03:52, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
I mean after all the problems are fixed. Obviously, it could use a good copyedit, as well as a long storm history while I'm at it, but once it is a well-written article with all the available info on the storm, there's no harm in keeping it. As it stands, it is better than some Atlantic fish storms (Erika 97, Danielle 98, up until recently Nicole 04, Erika 03, and Kate 03). I think that if it comprehensive on the subject, it should be kept. If it is also comprehensive on the subject, it should pass in Padgett's eyes. Hurricanehink (talk) 04:21, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Also, many errors. I mean, ffs, "degisnation"? Question, why the hell is Iriomote under Taiwan? It's part of the Yaeyama Islands chain. – Chacor 03:02, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Please keep though, but requires significant cleanup. - SpLoT 04:15, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Better? Storm05 14:20, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Citing sources (and spelling it "retrived") is not cleanup. It needs a pretty good copyedit from someone who has the time (*cough*Tito*cough*). – Chacor 14:22, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
