Contradiction
[edit]I don't understand.
From the lede: "First described scientifically in 1998, it is known only from the southeastern United States." From the first sentence of the body: "The species was first described scientifically by Ernst Both, curator emeritus in mycology at the Buffalo Museum of Science, based on specimens he found growing in New York state."
If it was found growing in New York State, then no, it isn't known only from the southeastern United States. One of these statements needs to be corrected, probably the first one. --Tkynerd (talk) 15:48, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
