The current article states that Detmer "finished third" in the 1990 Heisman voting. However, the table at the foot of the article, and the Wiki Heisman Trophy page both list him as having won the award. Which is correct? 83.245.25.19912:43, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure if it has been corrected since you posted but it now states that Ty won the Heisman in 1990 and came in third in 1991 [AlanKley 15 Sept 2006]
There are a lot of loaded, biased portions of this article. Especially the introduction needs some serious clean-up. It's fine to make the claim that he's one of the best college QBs ever, but there needs to be a reference for that kinds of statement.Vandymorgan03:02, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
His statistics are mentioned on a season-by-season basis in the biography section, but why not put both his collegiate (especially) and his professional stats in their own charts they way other prominent athletes have them?--72.174.72.232 (talk) 03:35, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
