Page Name: Two-wheeler Usage in Japan? Cycling in Japan?
[edit]I am wondering why cycling, scooters and motorcycles are lumped together in this one page. This is not the case with the many other countries on English Wikipedia, which have pages solely devoted to cycling in their respective countries. (Ex: Cycling in the Netherlands, Cycling in Canada etc.) Changing this page to focus exclusively on cycling (Cycling in Japan) would make it more intuitive than "Two-wheeled Transport" - which is a much more abstract concept. This would thus make it easier to find. It would also align the category closer to the Japanese Wikipedia entry ja:日本の自転車 (Japan's Bicycles [Cycling in Japan])
I realize that the lumping together of these three modes of transport may be due to the relative lack of information on all three. However, I wonder if it would be better to include two-wheeled motorized forms of transport such as scooters and motorcycles in another category, as they have more in common with cars when it comes to licensing and rules of the road. I am open to suggestions on the optimal page for information on scooters and motorcycles in Japan. Ottawajin (talk) 02:03, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
