Name correction

[edit]

I'll be the pain and point this one out. The actual name of the machine is simply "Twilight Zone" without the "The". Given that this is the first good pinball machine page I've seen so far, though, I can't bring myself to just jump in and move the whole thing. :-) Not at least without confirmation from someone who's been working on it first. No, you're correct - it does need to be moved to "Twilight Zone (pinball)". — KieferSkunk (talk) — 03:21, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High scores

[edit]

I removed the paragraph that listed the "official" high score for this machine. I know for a fact that it is inaccurate, because the score was obtained in the league that I started, and at the time the score was obtained, the league did not use tournament mode for its matches.

This brings up the question of exactly how we include high scores for individual machine pages. Given that there is no consensus yet, and no single authority recognized by a supermajority of players for determining such, that we leave out such information as non-encyclopedic until a consensus standard can be determined. To that end, I would like to direct people to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Pinball, where I have an idea for this that I will write about there in the next day or two. Thanks, Fractalchez (talk) 04:49, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah, I guess you're right. Even if an authority is involved and settings are just so, there are a lot of things that can happen to pinball machines that can't happen to solid-state video games. What is the tilt set to? What surface is the machine on (it's practically impossible to tilt a machine on smooth linoleum)? - Richfife (talk) 20:44, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talking Tina is misspelled

[edit]

It says "Talky Tina" Instead of talking Tina. 2603:3001:6A2:400:44DE:FC3A:5792:FE01 (talk) 16:19, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
