Controlled-access turnaround

[edit]

I have also seen a turnaround ramp on a controlled-access highway. Traffic not wishing to cross the border from Louisiana to Texas on Interstate 10 can use the Sabine Lake Turnaround. Traffic exits at I-10 west exit 1 on the right, but the ramp crosses under the bridge about to go over the lake and merges with I-10 east across. I would not be surprised if there are more of these, especially at national border crossings involving Interstates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simonsa (talkcontribs) 12:20, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorporated this type of turnaround in the article. --Chaswmsday (talk) 22:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
