Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted. 1. This is one operation in a serie of operation lead by Turkish forces in foreign territories, documenting all operations makes sense. 2. Asking speedy deletion when the edition is clearly ongoing is rude, thank to let editor finish their work. --Yug (talk) 19:50, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming

[edit]

I used the title "Turkish strikes on Sinjar (2018)" according to early report that a whole, 4~5 vehicles convoy was targeted. The drones videos are now out, and it appears to be a precise target-killing. I'am considering renaming the article accordingly. Yug (talk) 09:43, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there is an article called the Assassination of Ismail Özden, which is about the same airstrikes. I am thinking of renaming the other one Ismail Özden (creating a redirect for Zeki Shingali), and including some info from there in this article. What are your thought about this? Exact Location

[edit]

Given the place name "Snune" and the drone video, I suspect this place. The group of building there is called "Snuny" on google map. To confirm. Yug (talk) 14:30, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
