Overall, this article is pretty good, though I do have a few issues:
- WP:ALT text should be added to the images. I could care less about it but if you want FA later on it'll need to be done. Also, there's really next to no description in each file as to what the image is. Not really an article issues itself, as I trust they're PD, but still.
- "Sport has been played at the Turf Moor site since 1833" shouldn't this be plural? (sports have)
I keep spacing out so I'll finish this tomorrow. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:51, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I have added ALT text to all the images, but since I didn't upload them I can't really do anything about the sourcing etc. Also changed the first sentence of the History section. -- BigDom 12:53, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Here's the rest:
- Adding inflation figures for how much money was spent for construction would be helpful (130,000, for example doesn't sound like much, so I'd be curious to see how much that would be today)
- "On 16 September 1995, the last ever match was played in front of the historic Longside when Burnley ran out 2–1 winners against Hull City in a Second Division fixture." not sure what ran out winners means. Maybe just say they beat the team 2-1?
- "The following day, demolition of the Bee Hole End started, with work on the two stands finally completed in September 1996 at a total cost of £5.3 million, taking the capacity of the stadium to 22,619." I'm curious; any source noting and discussing how drastic a reduction this was? If not no big deal, but cutting the capacity almost in half is rather surprising.
- Have added inflation figures, changed the sentence in the second point. The capacity was reduced because all the terracing was replaced by seats and I think this has been explained a bit earlier in the paragraph. Cheers for the review. -- BigDom 21:26, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I didn't see any problems in the final couple sections, so this article passes as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 21:40, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
