This page should not be speedy deleted because Turbo Goth is a legitimate band based in the Philippines. Why is this page being contested?--Psychocow (talk) 14:11, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
While the band can be classified under Independent status (thereby putting to question their "importance"), it should be noted that their popularity is spreading to the mainstream. The vocalist, Sarah Gaugler, is a well-established graphic artist, commercial model, and tattoo artist and quite well-known in the Philippines. They are also one of the bands being prominently featured by Baybeats, a foreign music festival. Here's a link: http://www.timeoutsingapore.com/music/gigs/baybeats-2011-bangkutaman-indo-turbo-goth-phi-cheating-sons-furniture-my. What else do I need to provide to prove that Turbo Goth has sufficient importance to warrant a Wikipedia entry? Thank you.--Psychocow (talk) 14:46, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the article. There's no assertion of notability here yet per WP:BAND. Can you find significant coverage of them from WP:Reliable sources? If they aren't available online, please let me know if you want help scanning and uploading them. Thanks, Gurt Posh (talk) 14:50, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
