[edit]The article doesn't really describe a tunnel hull as such, but rather rambles about ground effect and what a tunnel hull isn't. It would be helpful if someone with boat design experience could elaborate the symmetrical/asymetrical features of the sponsons/hulls. From what I know, tunnel hulls are not symetrical, whereas catamarans are. That is what produces the tunnel shape; the inside of each hull is not symmetrical to the outside.
