[edit]Still a few things I want to research and add. Heironymous Rowe (talk) 00:31, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Recommend name change
[edit]I think the name of this article should be changed (or the article moved) to one more similar to others about Native American tribes, such as "Tunica People", "Tunica (tribe)". The history can be given, but the emphasis should be on the people.--Parkwells (talk) 23:36, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
A little care
[edit]I know you're tring to do cleanup and copy edit, but some of your changes are a little wonky. Such as the present location of Pointe Coupee. The shifting of the river didn't leave it under water, it no longer exists. It was eroded away. Or the capitalization of the De in de Soto when it is not capilizing a sentence. Soto is the proper name. I appreciate the cleanup. Heironymous Rowe (talk) 08:13, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't have the original material on Pointe Coupee and was trying to make sense of what was in the article. Thanks for the fix on de Soto - couldn't remember the convention.--Parkwells (talk) 20:21, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Angola
[edit]The material on the Natchez War needs to be more concise so that this article stays focused on the Tunica people. Too much detail was lifted from articles on the Natchez/Natchez War.--Parkwells (talk) 22:32, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't mind it being more concise, but would rather not see too much info removed as it's just as pertinent to the Tunica and their reasons for moving around so much, names of their Chiefs, timeline etc. as it is to the Natchez. I tried to focus on the Tunica side of the story when putting the article together. This of coarse doesn't preclude having a second set of knowlegable eyes go thru it and help decide what is worth keeping and is not. Pretty much no one but myselof and now you have really even taken an interest in this subject on Wiki so far. Heironymous Rowe (talk) 23:03, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
