History did not end in 1985.

- Yes, there is a big gap here that needs to be filled in. The MVC dropped football in 1986; Tulsa went independent for football, remained in the MVC for other sports. In 1995 Tulsa moved to the Western Athletic Conference, then to Conference USA in 2005. (See Tulsa Golden Hurricane.) --Arxiloxos (talk) 03:45, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
