Fair use rationale for Image:Workable FC logo.png
[edit]Image:Workable FC logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- Oppose - They can be omitted but they don't need to be omitted. I see no other reason for a move. 76.167.156.93 (talk) 23:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Note that the dots of the names other Hong Kong football clubs are also omitted. Thus this page needs to be renamed for consistence.Hikikomori.hk (talk) 08:13, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Then maybe you should suggest that the full stops be included in the other Hong Kong football clubs to keep consistency. 76.167.156.93 (talk) 23:04, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Are the dots really so important? I don't think so. In fact, the meanings of FC, AA, SC are already understood. Hence they can be omitted, just like Serbian, Malaysian clubs. Hikikomori.hk (talk) 02:03, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Equally, is it really so important that the full stops be removed? I don't think so. In fact, the meanings of FF, AA, and SC are still understood. Hence, they don't need to be omitted. Just like in English clubs. 76.167.156.93 (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- I just want the naming of the clubs in Hong Kong First Division to be consistent. Is it my fault? Hikikomori.hk (talk) 01:56, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Support per other articles at Category:Hong Kong football clubs. Moving this one is simpler than moving all others. Songs of ts steiner (talk) 22:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you want a policy-based reason, does Commonwealth English not usually omit the period? Songs of ts steiner (talk) 22:50, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sometimes, but as for the football clubs, the full stops are retained. 76.167.156.93 (talk) 18:07, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Any additional comments:
Suggest a read of Wikipedia:naming conventions and any relevant subpages. Appeal to any relevant policies and guidelines first, fall back on established practice if you think the policy is wrong but the practice is right, and only fall back on personal opinions if both policy and practice seem to be wrong. Shek Kip Mei/Workable/Tuen Mun Progoal
[edit]Actually I think these three are different teams. The later two just borrowed the Shek Kip Mei's membership in Hong Kong First Division League. So I think they should have different articles. It is different from Lanwa Redbull changing its name to Blades.Checkiema (talk)
- Agree, I have done the same thing in Chinese version.--Antonytse (talk) 13:09, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
