Fair use rationale for Image:ST-VOY 6 15.jpg

[edit]

Image:ST-VOY 6 15.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

[edit]
  • The episode had originally been called "Arena". It was described as a "clever marketing ploy" by Russ... -- This implies that the name change was the clever marketing ploy, which I'm sure it wasn't. Suggest tweaking
  • Sweeps month could use a wikilink
  • It received mixed ratings by critics --> It received mixed reviews by critics... (since you mention actual ratings in the previous sentence)
  • However, the fight scenes were praised by Black Belt magazine. -- Not sure that the "however" is needed here

I got through the plot section; will add more tomorrow. Thanks, Ruby 2010/2013 04:16, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the delay with this. Have added my final comments below.

  • He discloses his gratefulness... --> "The Hirogen discloses his gratefulness..." (I assume?)
  • Use consistency between percent and %
  • Is there any data out there on total viewers?
  • Do you have Highbeam access? I tried looking for data on total viewers and instead found these independent sources on some of the ratings you already include. I recommend you add them in to bolster your TrekNation.com citations [1] [2]

Will place the review on hold for seven days, though I doubt it will take that long. Ruby 2010/2013 15:07, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

question and comment

[edit]

Hello, I'm new around here and have a question and comment. This is such an interesting episode! I found out that the stunt double for Jeri Ryan in this episode is Dana Hee, who has a very good Wikipedia page here. While she is not credited in the show's credits, I am on the trail of finding suitable references, perhaps to include this in her article page and possibly also this one. I'm not sure if it fits within the whole of your article here, but I think it's kind of neat and notable that the show utilized a Gold medal-winning olympic athlete to stand in for Seven of Nine. I have some internet references supporting that she was the stunt double, but I don't know if you want them. There is one in which one of the costumes from the episode has Dana Lee's name on it, [1], general internet sites in which it is discussed and presumed true, (various Wiki sites) and then there are references to her providing stunts for the show but not necessarily this particular episode: [2]. So I thought I'd leave this here and see what you think.

In addition, this is not a criticism but just a general comment that is probably too picky to mention, but I was having trouble understanding what the word Tsunkatse is. It's used in the title, and also used in the first line of the plot. I have been trying to find out the meaning of this word, which after looking around, I can't find any meaning except that it appears to be a Star Trek writer's invention. Would it be good to add a clarification like (name of race) kickboxing sport called tsunkatse". If so then the usage of the word throughout the rest of the article may be clearer?

Great job on the article, I thought it was really great! Cheers.... Cityside189 (talk) 19:37, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
