Yes. See "The 14th Dalai Lama's family and servants in Lhasa". Pitt Rivers Museum. and Pema, Jetsun (1997). Tibet: My Story. Element Books. p. 106.; the latter, an autobiography by another of the Dalai Lama's sisters, has a section on her sister's death. Mangoe (talk) 14:45, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
