Notability
[edit]Two issues. I don't believe the fact that Reginald Oliver Denny and Larry Walters were truck drivers really matters to their claims to fame, and as such should not be mentioned in this article. Do their stories have any impact on truck driver culture? I would bet that the vast majority of people do not even know that they were truck drivers. Also: Is this really a notable enough culture to deserve it's own article outside of Truck_driver#In_popular_culture? Jujutacular talkcontribs 22:09, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well obviously I think it does, there is a lot of room for expansion here. Larry Walters was a pioneer, which is crucial to the cowboy and rebel ascpect of the portrayal. Reginald Denny was widely known as "the victim" of the 1992 riots. Whether people knew he was a truck driver has nothing to do with the notability of his mention. News reports qualify as television programs, which is part of the "popular culture". --ErgoSum•talk•trib 22:36, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Trucking industry in popular culture (United States) → Trucking industry in American culture – Odd disambiguator without a base title. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 16:59, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
