Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
I notice today that a user has added a comment to the Model Production Quantities chart in the article, stating that those numbers "have been proven to be incorrect". I removed the comment, as meta-comments like that should not be in the article, but I am open to the notion that the chart, sourced from 2002, may be outdated. I've left a note for the user who added that comment, but any other investigation here would of course be welcomed. ArakunemTalk19:58, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
