Possible 'weasel word' usage / lack of citation

[edit]

While adding a minor note to the 'Pharmacology' section (the bit about nightmares), I noticed something that could be considered 'weasel-words' in need of clarification or citation. The phrase 'dreams are said to brighten during treatment' made me immediately think 'said by whom'? I can't disagree with the statement, since I've been on the medication myself and understand what it's refering to, but I still think that it should be backed up by a citation from a trusted source. I checked the online references listed in the article, and did a bit of online research myself, but was unable to find anything solid to back this up. The best I was able to find was a short blurb in a PubMed abstract stating that trimipramine treatment let to a "positive influence on patients' mood that was paralleled by a change of dream mood", which sounds like the dream changes were caused by a general improvement of mood, rather than directly as a result of the drug. While this gives a bit more weight in favour of the statement in the article, I don't think it's enough for a proper citation. ~ Pacula 14:35, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
