How is this compound dissociated when heated? CF3OF -> COF2 + F2 (or) CF4 + 1/2 O2. If the first pathway is correct, the electronegativity of oxygen is very very close to that of fluorine like that in Inamoto & Masuda scale. The period 2 elements (especially oxygen) are kings!
