Episode summaries
[edit]@Carlson288: I reverted most of your changes to the first season episode summaries. I felt that some of the information you added was repetitive, inaccurate, or belonged elsewhere in the article. A few particulars:
- The article has a Premise section a bit higher up which says that it the setting is Kitmat, so I feel that it is redundant to restate this in the episode summaries.
Phil is an alcoholic, military veteran whose much younger girlfriend, Destiny, is pregnant.
I don't recall Phil being a war veteran in the series; did you take this from the novels? In any case, the plot summaries are there to say what happened in the episode; defining the characters goes in the Character/Cast section or possibly the Premise section (with citations).- It's unnecessary to state that Wade arrives twice, and perhaps that is something that should go under Premise.
A mysterious stranger named Wade arrives in town and begins following Jared around
. I don't think this is clear in the first episode; Wade is mentioned by name once and in another scene is attacked by Maggie, but otherwise we don't see him (unless you're counting crows and look-alikes). Usually, if something isn't clear, it's best to just describe what happens on-screen. Also, Wade isn't a stranger to Maggie or Phil. Something might be added to Premise or Cast (with a citation).Maggie believes it's too dangerous and that Jared isn't ready to take his place.
I feel that the point Maggie was making was that Jared wasn't ready to kill, that he wasn't tough enough to kill – not that Jared wasn't ready to take Wade's place.
