[edit]I added Category:Tricentennial anniversaries at the bottom of this article, because the lead says, "Tricentennial Park is an urban park in Albany, New York built to commemorate that city's three hundredth anniversary...." That was reverted because, "Anniversaries are events. This park is not an event, it is a place." In the article Caravaggio, one of the categories is "1571 births", but Caravaggio was not a birth, right? The present article is in part about a tricentennial anniversary, according to both the title and the lead paragraph, so that's a defining characteristic of the article. The article Yellowstone National Park includes the categories "History of the Rocky Mountains" and "History of Wyoming" and "Geysers of Wyoming" even though Yellowstone National Park is not the history of the Rocky Mountains, nor is it the history of Wyoming, nor is it a geyser. So, it seems to me that Category:Tricentennial anniversaries is appropriate at the bottom of this article. Anythingyouwant (talk) 18:18, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
