Merger

Some time ago I found a red link for this film onList of television films produced for American Broadcasting Company. The link was pipelined, and used Tribes (television) as its destination. Unaware of the existence of this article, Tribes (film) I created a page with that title. It has remained mostly unchanged since then. Later I realized the mistake I had made, but was unsure what to do about it, and for a while I did nothing. Then I came to the conclusion that the best resolution would be to merge that article into this one and change that article into a redirect page (which I will do next). BTW with the additional sections from the merger, I think it might be time to think about upgrading the article's rating from stub to start class.Floggolozzo (talk) 18:01, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

"Factual error": Actually factual?

I removed the following section:

"== Factual Error == At the end of the film, the CO flunked Adrian without Drake's agreement. Under DOD Basic Training regulations, the Training Instructor's agreement with the CO is mandatory for such an action to be done."

It is unsourced, which is enough for removal. But beyond that I could find nothing supporting it on a quick search of the web. Note: Even if someone can verify the removed "fact" under present Marine Corps regulations, it is still necessary to show this regulation existed at the time of movie's setting. Different title

This IMDB link [1]https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066490/ refers to title as "The Tribe".Billymac00 (talk) 02:27, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
