[edit]Turgidson,
if you stick to have more detailed background, no problem, but those should be accurate. No territorial changes have been carried out before the treaty, on the other hand you concentrate only to Transylvania, although, it has been just a part of the deal, and this is causing mostly the erroneus interpretations of the subject (anyway, we have already discussed about such topics).(KIENGIR (talk) 14:08, 9 December 2020 (UTC))
Wrong information
[edit]The date of 4 Jun is not a public holiday in Romania, so the whole article should be removed from Wikipedia. I cannot see the value that this article adds to Wikipedia. Dan luca 68 (talk) 20:46, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Well we have lots of sources confirming such a thing and I can also find official declarations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [1] and a law promulgating the holiday at Monitorul Oficial [2]. So you'll have to argue your point. Super Dromaeosaurus (talk) 00:17, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Well, the source that you mentioned just state that:
- [1] Ministerul Afacerilor Externe marchează Ziua Tratatului de la Trianon printr-o expoziție dedicată = The Ministry of Foreign Affairs marks Trianon Treaty Day with a dedicated exhibition, which is not the same as declaring that day as a public holiday
- [2] Legea nr. 256/2020 pentru declararea zilei de 4 iunie Ziua Tratatului de la Trianon = Law no. 256/2020 for the declaration of June 4 as Trianon Treaty Day. The law doesn't state anywhere that this is a public holiday (i.e. non-working day). The list of public holidays in Romania can be seen here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holidays_in_Romania. The Trianon day is present in the section "Other working holidays", not in "Official non-working holidays"
- Are there any other independent sources claiming that this is a public holiday in Romania? Dan luca 68 (talk) 17:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- You're right in that case, I've corrected the article and others I've written. Super Ψ Dro 18:00, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
