This redirect page should exist because:

• The phrase "Triangle fire" is a common shorthand for the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire.
  • There is no other major historical disaster, fire or otherwise, with the name "Triangle" in its title.
• Not everyone uses the words "shirtwaist" or "factory" in colloquial discussion of this event. For example, the title of a recent and popular book by David von Drehle is Triangle: The Fire That Changed America. Bry9000 (talk) 00:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
