About TriStar
Remember, TriStar was formed in 1982, but the first logo came out in 1984. King Shadeed 11:58, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- I found this. About the creator of the 1992 TriStar Pictures logo. I'm not talking about the computer generated 1993 logo. Maybe this can be used for source or reference.

Pictures
Any reason why the logos for WB, Fox and Parmount are all included on this article? This seems a little confusing since the article does not reference any of these as being connected to Tristar. --Wootonius 22:01, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- That would be the work of a recurrent prankster/vandal. I've reverted the changes. —tregoweth (talk) 22:25, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for that in the future. --Wootonius 16:37, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
TriStar and CBS
According to the article, it says CBS dropped out of the joint venture in 1984. Then why did CBS/Fox release other TriStar movies on video for another couple of years? TriStar films like The Legend of Billie Jean and Short Circuit were originally released on video by CBS/Fox and Key Video, and both were released in 1985 and 1986 respectively. So was there a mistake made or CBS was still an outside partner with TriStar or something. It's really confusing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.224.131.213 (talk) 02:18, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Newest Since RKO?
"It was the first new major Hollywood studio to be established since RKO Pictures was founded over 50 years earlier.[3]"
While technically quoted from a source, hard to miss that Orion Pictures was formed in 1978. [Wiki to Orion Pictures]
Is Orion too small to be called major? What is the criteria for that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turbo231 (talk • contribs) 04:39, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
List of highest grossing films on main article.
DO NOT re-add the List of Highest Grossing Film by TriStar Pictures on the main article. That needs to be on the List of TriStar Pictures films article. King Shadeed 20:36, December 21, 2014 (UTC)
