Preparing for GA

One of the things that I'm trying to figure out is the direction to take this article in order to achieve GA. The naming "Tri-Five" was after the fact, they were called "The Hot Ones" in their day (marketing lingo), so the very nature of the name is cultural. This will require some wrangling to keep the article from wandering. I expect to publish some specs such as number produced and the like, but think the whole "highly collectible / beloved / icon" aspects of American culture should be covered. I'm not sure how other countries see them, or even if they use the Tri-five name, but globalizing (as far as it will go) is worth while. • I've definitely heard of these as the Tri-Five (and, by extension, the Tri-Five Chevrolets), and the Tri-Chevy as well. I've never come across "The Hot Ones" before, but then I'm too young and/or not American, so that may be why. If I was to pick a name, I'd pick either Tri-Five Chevrolets or Tri-Five Chevy, simply because that's a more informative name than "Tri-Five". [http://www.amazon.com/A-Guide-Building-Tri-Five-Chevy/dp/1935231294] and [1] use the Tri-Five Chevy name, whilst some other sources chuck the Chevy/Chevrolet tag to the front. [2] refers to them as the Tri-Five, although only in the page title. My next question is: should we integrate the 1955 Chevrolet and 1957 Chevrolet articles into this, or should we keep those separate, expand them, improve them, and have this refer to them?   • "The Hot Ones" and "the motoramic Chevrolet" were marketing terms used by Chevy at the time. Tons of sourcing to this effect, so I expect to put in at some point. The marketing, including Motorama, likely deserves a small section. Dennis Brown / 2¢ / © / @ / Join WER 15:33, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
