Logo Change
[edit]Their new primary logo is Thor with his legendary hammer and a shield and with a "T". The logo that this article shows became the secondary logo. The main change was that the "T" changed to green.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Alakazam (talk • contribs) 17:24, 30 January 2006
Change
[edit]I changed the part of the article about Chase. He does not only appear during the first inning and doesn't appear at every home game.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Mightyzip (talk • contribs) 21:16, 5 August 2006
Fair use rationale for Image:TREthunder.PNG
[edit]Image:TREthunder.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

3 Trenton Thunder teams
[edit]I have monitored the Buffalo Bisons temporary relocation to Trenton carefully and the Bisons are playing as the Trenton Thunder for all home games, making the Thunder organization operate 2 Trenton Thunder teams. The collegiate operation in the MLB Draft League is also being treated as an inferior team for 2021 under the Thunder organization’s marketing of the 2 teams under the Bisons temporary relocation to Trenton, automatically making the collegiate operation no longer the continuation of the original Trenton Thunder. That brings the Thunder organization fielding 3 teams called Trenton Thunder in its history as opposed to 2 teams. The only thing now that is original is the Thunder organization, not the team. Granthew (talk) 12:08, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- I see your point, but I have to disagree. The articles and announcements about the Bisons/Thunder situation generally say things like, "The Thunder are hosting the Buffalo Bisons," or "The Bisons are playing as the Trenton Thunder" ([2], [3]). They don't say that the Thunder are the Triple-A affiliate of the Blue Jays. Box scores list the Triple-A team as the Bisons when playing in Trenton ([4]). The Bisons are still the Bisons on the road ([5]). In other words, my point is the Buffalo Bisons are still the Buffalo Bisons even if they are called the "Trenton Thunder" in Trenton, and the Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League are a continuation of the Eastern League franchise even if they are playing second fiddle to the temporary "Trenton Thunder". This would make the Thunder one team, not two or three. NatureBoyMD (talk) 12:34, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- Not surprised that nobody agrees with my response. Yes the Triple-A stats would be under Bisons, but that doesn’t mean the Bisons don’t count as an incarnation of the Trenton Thunder. If the Bisons are marketed as the Trenton Thunder even if the stats will be under the Bisons name, it still counts for the Bisons to be an incarnation of the Trenton Thunder and that would be the 2nd incarnation. The Buffalo News doesn’t understand fully about how the Trenton Thunder organization is marketing the Bisons and the Draft League Thunder, if you watched the video to the first reference, Jeff Hurley is clearly marketing the collegiate team as Draft League Thunder. Yes the Bisons are wearing the Bisons road uniforms on the road, but that doesn’t disqualify them from being an incarnation of the Trenton Thunder. In the video to the first reference, the Draft League Thunder is being treated as an inferior team, automatically making the collegiate team no longer the original Trenton Thunder. It actually doesn’t matter if the collegiate team is playing second fiddle, if the collegiate team was treated as an important team even as a second fiddle, then the collegiate team would still be considered as the original Trenton Thunder. Here’s what happened, the Trenton Thunder organization created a situation where you now have 3 Trenton Thunder teams under 1 Trenton Thunder organization without them realizing it. Was it their intention to have 3 incarnations of the Trenton Thunder, no it wasn’t, but now Trenton Thunder Baseball has reached a crossroads where there are now 3 Trenton Thunder teams under 1 Trenton Thunder organization. I was the first person to pick up this, I studied how the Trenton Thunder organization is marketing the collegiate team and it’s telling me the collegiate team is automatically being treated not as the original Trenton Thunder; in fact, it seems the Trenton Thunder organization is marketing the Bisons as if they are the real Trenton Thunder. At this point, I’d rather start over with Thunder Baseball in Trenton with a new name, something like New Jersey Thunder or Central Jersey Thunder.Granthew (talk) 07:47, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
