Talk:Trent Reznor/GA1
GA Reassessment
[edit]Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
I had come to Trent Reznor looking for information on his recent physical transformation, so I skipped to the "Personal life" section and found nothing. Fair enough, leave it to the tabloids. Before navigating away, the word recently at the end of the section caught my eye. The word is discouraged in WP:Mos. I clicked the citation, it was an invalid link with no interview. I found the real interview, and he said nothing even remotely like it. I don't know when this edit was placed, but it wasn't recent. No one checked it all this time? I added the article to my watch list, and today a couple more edits were made. As far as I can tell, both should be reverted. I haven't even begun to read or verify the rest of the article. I know little of the subject, so I wouldn't be a good candidate. Whomever brought this to "Good article" status seems to have left it to the dogs. Juventas (talk) 07:26, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- Comment Fair enough; as the original nominator of the article, I admit I haven't paid much attention to it lately. I'll see about cleaning it up a little bit, hopefully to meet everyon's expectations. Though I am a little short on free time right about now, so we'll see how it goes. - Comment I'm currently reorganizing the page to make a fully integrated biography section. While NIN is surely Reznor's primary project, the article needs more focus on the man as a whole, instead of his work with NIN. I will also expand the lead when I am done. - It is amazing that this GAR has been open for over a year. It is also amazing that during this time period, it s not up to GA-standards, as there are a lot of unsourced statements, its full of trivial details, and outdated sources in parts it, too. So, I will delist the article from its GA status. GamerPro64 (talk) 04:16, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
