– The American football individual has been an assistant coach in the highest league of American college football for several years; he was recently promoted to head coach. In examining the page views, the coach has been consistently receiving more traffic than the current primary topic for some time, with the swimmer usually receiving single-digit daily traffic. Following the promotion to head coach, he received an expected bump due to the news cycle (with the swimmer receiving traffic looking for the other article), and now continues to receive significantly more traffic. The American football coach should become the primary topic. Esprqii (talk) 00:13, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support 2, Oppose 1 (for now) - I think it's reasonably clear that the swimmer isn't the primary topic, but I think it's too soon to say whether the American Football coach will remain as the primary. His promotion was only recently, and the page views are trending downwards again. In a month or so, we'd probably have a clearer picture on whether he is going to remain the primary or whether there won't be a primary topic for this name.
