Move
[edit]I think this page may need to be moved to have the title "Trendsetter (album)", because a number of pages link to this one and most (all?) do so in reference to trendsetting, rather than the album. Previously, this page redirected to Innovation.

Trendsetter → Trendsetter (Coi Leray album) – While this is the only exact title match on Wikipedia currently, "Trendsetter" could refer to other things. A new disambiguation page could be created at Trendsetter, including this article, the 2006 album by Fler, and Innovation (which is where trendsetting currently redirects.) @Sl8nh98: 162 etc. (talk) 03:46, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Support It should likely be a primary redirect to celebrity (and trendsetting redirected there as well). A trendsetter need not be an innovator, all that is required is the fame to start or popularize trends. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 06:33, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. In 2021, Trendsetter was a redirect averaging only 2 hits per day.[1] The article about the album was written in April 2022 and views jumped briefly into the thousands.[2] Now pageviews average well over 100 per day.[3] By contrast, trendsetting averages zero hits per day. It's obvious most readers are expecting the album at this title. Station1 (talk) 09:57, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Support the original No.4 in Germany charting de:Trendsetter (Album) Fler album article was blanked 21:41, 22 March 2017 by Natg 19 −4,883 (not sure if the result of discussion or not, it still has an article on de.wp) and this 2022 album which charted 89 created in its place. But evidently neither album remotely comes near a Primary Topic grab for a common term. So move in Trendsetter (disambiguation). In ictu oculi (talk) 16:45, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Better still unblank the German album Trendsetter (Fler album) and move this one to Trendsetter (Coi Leray album). In ictu oculi (talk) 17:15, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Done btw. Should never have been blanked by the look of things. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:58, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Indeed. I approve of this and updated the RM to Trendsetter (Coi Leray album). 162 etc. (talk) 20:35, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- No objection to reinstating the Fler album, but in 2016, the last full year that it was an article, under the title Trendsetter (album), it averaged only 2 pageviews per day. So I still think this album is the WP:primary topic for the title. Station1 (talk) 04:25, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

- support the concept in general is the primary topic—blindlynx 17:20, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
