Article evaluation

[edit]

I will be evaluating the "Environmental issue" Section: Detailed lead section: the overview at the start of the article is clear and easy to understand. Clear structure: there are several headings and subheadings arranged chronologically or by themes, but the author talked briefly about the headings and subheadings. Balanced content: the article does not cover many aspects of the topic. the segment is a sort part of the whole article and I feel as the data demonstrated is pretty much nothing. Neutral tone: the article is written without bias toward a particular point of view. Good sourcing: reliable sources are cited throughout the article and as much as possible.

Lead Section Overall, a good introduction to the Trematoda itself. From the introduction, however, I'm not really sure of the connection between the parasite and Kuwait. You might want to draw a more clear connection here in the introduction for the purpose of quick access to readers. You touch on these issues throughout the article but a summary is not necessarily presented up front.

Clear structure and Balanced Coverage I'm not very familiar with parasites, so I might just be confused, but I struggled a bit to determine the structure of your page and the relationship between the parasites. There are several different parasites mentioned, but I'm not really sure if they are species of Trematoda or are different parasites altogether. Maybe making a table to differentiate between the parasites mentioned might help, especially for someone who might not know as much about them. Also, you're probably going to add them in later, but I think more images would help your article.

For coverage, maybe provide some more info on Kuwait and its connection with the parasites - how does this relationship impact life there? Your focus is quite heavy on the biological site of the parasites. Since your article is about Kuwait, perhaps consider adding more info about the country and the region as a whole.

Neutral Content The tone of your writing is neutral and encompasses good ideas.

Reliable Sources A really good working list of credible sources. I think some peer-reviewed articles might be beneficial to add your page. Additionally, while the texts on parasites look informative and credible, they are older volumes. The library might have some updated texts on parasites either in print or online.

Overall, looks like your page is going well! Really interesting to read through.--Rrwolff21 (talk) 21:37, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lead Section: Great lead, add a pic. Make sure to establish a connection from the organism to the place of interest.

Clear structure and Balanced Coverage: The organism isn't really connected to the place other than a few specific small sentences. Adding a section that discusses the reason the worm is in Kuwait will allow this article to differ from an article just about the worm.

Neutral Content: Great tone overall, no bias present.

Reliable Sources: References are good; HOWEVER, there is no footnote to connect the information to the source. There's a lot of information present I don't know and would like to review the reference for reliability reasons.

Overall Great article. NaoBao (talk) 19:33, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
