The result of the move request was: page moved. Andrewa (talk) 18:22, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
Trek (disambiguation) → Trek – After various moves including a very recent retargetting, "Trek" redirects to this dab page which is clearly wrong. It previously pointed to Backpacking (wilderness) (with no hatnote there to point to the dab page). The dab page seems to have enough different entries to suggest that "Backpacking" is not the Primary topic for "Trek", so the dab page shouuld be moved to be at the base name. - Support. If "Trek" is going to direct to the DAB page anyway, then move it. I would assume that the Great Trek challenges backpacking (wilderness) for primary topic status. — AjaxSmack 23:33, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support at the very least Star Trek ("Trek") is competitive with trekking (backpacking) -- 70.51.200.101 (talk) 05:29, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support It should go to the disambiguation page without a redirect. Personally, I think of the bike company. Perhaps someone should do a google books search to see what is most popular 100 years ago (tongue completely in cheek here....) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.201.191.33 (talk) 09:29, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support - so many possibilities, none really primary. Backpacking is as close as you could get, but "trek" is a really awkward way to reach it. Red Slash 18:40, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support but only so long as this doesn't create a new wp primary drama later... fingers crossed. Montanabw(talk) 07:57, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
