The move of this page
[edit]Could User:Ghirlandajo please state the reason for the move of this page to its present location? I have never seen this transcription of Kulja/Yining before, and I would like to hear the reasons. A move without prior discussion is never a good idea.--Niohe 21:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
It seems that Kuldzha is based on the Russian spelling of the name, but this spelling is not common in English usage, where either Ghulja or Kulja are more common. This edit seems to be a variant of the so-called Gdanzig syndrome...--Niohe 21:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK. I haven't heard from anyone, so I will move the page back to its original place shortly.--Niohe 13:25, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
