I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:38, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- No DABs, external links OK
- Images appropriately licensed
- French king, King Philip VI delete the second "King"
- Done.
- Capitalize King of France
- Done. Although IMO the revised version no longer complies with the MoS.
- It's a title of nobility, just like Duke of Cambridge, not an office.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:03, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

- It's not clear that Charles of Spain is the Constable of France. A matter of punctuation, I think.
- Clarified.
- Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I'm not at all comfortable translating foreign names into English, not least because of the inconsistency of it all. Why isn't Ivan translated as John? I'm much more familiar with accounts that discuss the capture of Jean II of France, not John II, and King Duarte of Portugal, not Edward. But I'll not ask you to use the native forms, you can rest assured, as much as they grate on me.
- Use of foreign names in the specialist literature of the Edwardian Phase of the Hundred Years' War is not common. I recently stumbled across an article which used Jean II. I found myself stopping and translating every time, so used had I become to John II; one consequence was that even after three readings I am not sure that I have fully mined the article, so disconcerting to concentration was the usage. Happily, this being the English Wikipedia it's not really an issue..
- I am talking about a long time ago, well before Sumption and Curry, as I date myself.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:03, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Short and sweet.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:24, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Sturmvogel 66, many thanks nevertheless, and much appreciated. Probably just as much work, even if few actions are identified. Gog the Mild (talk) 21:56, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
