Huh?
[edit]I've hardly ever read a more confusing and inaccurate description of what plain words of a document mean. This article needs to be rewritten in it's entirety, by someone who studies the history. I'm appalled. Sbalfour (talk) 01:02, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
- Mostly done, but the article lacks substantive text. At least what's there is concise and accurate. Sbalfour (talk) 02:51, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
Treaty of St. Mary's 1817?
[edit]I can't find any definitive source for this name. The "Treaty" referred to wasn't separate, but merely an addendum to the Treaty of Fort Meigs. Ohio History Central uses that name, but nowhere else, and the term doesn't appear in the treaty itself. It wasn't signed at St. Mary's, but at Fort Meigs at the same time. So hmmmm.... Sbalfour (talk) 23:12, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
- Rescinded the name, unless or until someone can cite a primary source to validate Ohio History Central's use of it. Sbalfour (talk) 23:23, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
