Height

[edit]

How is Trayvon listed at 5'9" when he's clearly a good two inches at least shorter than 5'9" Andre De Grasse? He's also clearly many inches shorter (not just 1 or 2 inches) than Tyson Gay in pictures with the two side-by-side. He's not even close to 5'9". --Criticalthinker (talk) 04:24, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, here it is. Whatever his official listing, this USA Today article clearly pegs him at 5'7", which is far more realistic:

"It's not just the Olympic-level times that have separated Bromell from the pack; it's also his diminutive size, relatively speaking, as his 5-foot-7 frame is often dwarfed by more prototypically sized competitors – such as Gay, who measures at just under six feet, and 6-foot-1 Justin Gatlin."

Not sure when it's obvious an athlete is not his or her listed height if we can list them at their real height if we have a citation. What do you guys think? Obviously, he's not even close to 5'9". --Criticalthinker (talk) 16:55, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First Junior under 10?

[edit]

Does Junior mean below 20 or below 19? Because there are a couple below 20 who've made it below 10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10-second_barrier 80.169.164.5 (talk) 10:46, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Below 20; there is a link to the term in the opening sentence. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:58, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
