[edit]I put in Image:N222301930 298821 2825.jpg , which is public-domain, as a replacement to Image:NatalieTeeger.jpg which is a nonfreee copyrighted image. Whenever a free image is available, a fairuse image is not permitted. The {{Promotional}} tag even says that it's to be used when there isn't a free alternative. This article does not discuss the fairuse picture or the scene it's from, or the episode. It merely mentions she's on the TV show. So, it really doesn't illustrate anything. It was just being used to show what the actress looks like, which can be done with a public domain image better. I was going to nominate the fairuse image for deletion, but I see its being used in Natalie Teeger, which seems to have a stronger fairuse claim. --Rob 14:18, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, okay. Didn't realize that was the case. I saw the picture thought that it was blurry compared to the one in Natalie Teeger. Feel free to revert. sohmc 14:29, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- I agree the last one I put in wasn't totally clear. I found another public domain image, Image:Traylor Howard 2.jpg, which isn't fantastic, but shows her face more clearly/brightly I think. --Rob 15:08, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
_______
How can it be said she's been married twice when there is no record of a second marriage (not here or on IMDb).

- Google search notes three marriages — current, Jarel Porteman; priors: Christian Navarro [2003-2006] and Cameron Hall [1991-1993] LeanLovingWriter (talk) 05:15, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
_______
It says she has two children, but only one is discussed in the body.
A Google search for "Traylor Howard children" includes a lot more information (supposedly on Wikipedia) than what is shown in the Wikipedia article. Her children are Sabu Howard and Julien Portman. She has been married three times apparently, Jarel Portman (m. 2011), Christian Navarro (m. 2003–2006), Cameron Hall (m. 1991–1993)
Even her Fandom site has more information than her Wikipedia article (ouch!) https://monk.fandom.com/wiki/Traylor_Howard

- I have updated the article with sourced and cited information detailing the information you mentioned. Calebrw (talk) 23:14, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
Real Year of Birth
[edit]There appears to be some discrepancy between sources on Howard's age. June 14 is consistently listed as the day, but starting in 1999, newspapers (via wire services) list her age at 28, giving a birth year of 1971. But then in 2011, newspapers list 45, for a birth year of 1966. The latter would make more sense, as her 1990 engagement announcement said she was a college graduate, with by the sourced year of 1971, that would make her 19. A 1966 birth year would make her 24, a more realistic age for an American college graduate. Calebrw (talk) 05:02, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- UPDATED. I confirmed through other sources that the 1966 date is accurate. I have therefore updated the page to include the new information. Calebrw (talk) 21:18, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
