Point of the Mountain?
[edit]Why does Point of the Mountain link to this article?? Please add the information to the article, thanks! --Ibn Battuta (talk) 00:52, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- Because that's what the locals call it in colloquial conversation. Vidalian Tears (talk) 16:33, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Disambiguation
[edit]Might it be better if this article was called "Traverse Mountains (Utah)"? What is considered justification for giving one mountain range "main topic" (non-disambiguated) status over another, in this case "Traverse Mountains (Antarctica)"? (the criteria for cities is much clearer, for example; Paris, France obviously beats Paris, Illinois based on population, etc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Esetzer (talk • contribs) 01:59, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Mega-landslide
[edit]While Brigham Young University researchers have published this interpretation, it is still highly controversial and should not be taken as the only or undisputed interpretation to the geology of the area. 2604:2C00:FF05:15A:A48A:152D:EBBF:EFB6 (talk) 02:11, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- In that case, my advice is find a paper, study, article, whatever, that is also credible, that proposes an alternate interpretation. Incorporate that into this section and re-title it to something like "Geologic interpretations" or similar. Dave (talk) 06:17, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
