Reassessing

[edit]

I think this one's Stub-class... just a few sentences and some stats. Wantok (toktok) 02:52, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Statement

[edit]

Where it says that most transport is run by church groups, this is grossly inaccurate at best. Most airlines (like Airlines PNG and shipping companies like Steamships are private companies. I don't have the time to rewrite this article atm, so I am almost on the verge of removing this paragraph. aliasd·U·T 07:12, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The current world factbook lists Rabaul as one of the major ports, along with Kimbe and Lae... I wonder if this is even correct? aliasd·U·T 10:34, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kimbe, Lae, and Rabaul as the three major ports? I haven't seen the shipping movement figures but I find it very hard to believe that Rabaul would be anywhere near POM, for one thing. I'll see if I can dig up some stats... Wantok (toktok) 14:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
